Lazy Sunday afternoon, in the tropics. After ages on the phone, my full attention is on the banana plant.
My banana management plan? Deviated from protocol, of course. And the yield? Not high this time. The large leaves? Shade, all around. Flower petals? Refreshing for the dog. And as for the rest? A delightful base for frozen smoothies on a rainy day.

Recently, someone collected a broken A/C compressor unit from my doorstep and gave me cash that was about the price of a large cappuccino at a local coffee shop run by a popular US franchise.
