“Just because I am helping Vladimir Putin by saving his Black Sea Fleet from drone attacks, so Putin can kill more Ukrainians, people suddenly think I am the bad guy. It is all very unfair.”

I understand your point, but you are missing the context. I am not using the name Space Karen to call Elon Musk a woman. I am using the name Space Karen to honor awesome female standup comedian @kathygriffin who coined that name for him, after he banned her Twitter account for insulting the dear leader Elon himself.

@CStamp I believe very much in trying to understand people’s intentions instead of reading something into their words which was not intended.
And if you really stand by calling @kathygriffin a misogynist, I have nothing to add to this conversation.

@PacMan225 I did not know that English slang term, but I am glad you enlightened me.
in reply to Randahl Fink

@CStamp @kathygriffin or, you can just acknowledge that being a Karen is beyond just meaning “mean woman.” Men can absolutely be Karens as well. The same way chicks can be dudes.

@jgkoomey "Just because I platform the worst in antisemitic POS since WWII, I am suddenly the bad guy"

"Just because I aided my Saudi partners in ferreting out their critics on this 'free speech' platform, doesn't make me a subhuman"

in reply to Randahl Fink

From the beginning of that agreement between the Ukraine and SpaceX I had a feeling this would go South.
As a State, being dependent on any kind of outside party for your GPS system is a real slippery slope.
That's why I'm grateful we have Galileo in the EU!

@noondlyt Billionaires have no patriotism. Their allegience is to money.
in reply to Randahl Fink

Huh. Calling his actions treasonous is . . . treason? He's a private citizen—criticizing him is now anti-American, and punishable by death?

Bruh.

in reply to Randahl Fink

He may only have that passport but he also has South African and Canadian citizenship.
in reply to Randahl Fink

The middle paragraph is, though, an open admission of aiding Russia in its internationally condemned war. Might this mean that Musk could be liable to be tried at The Hague as a war criminal? If so, good; he deserves it.
in reply to Randahl Fink

Ah, I see. Now it’s considered treason to call Musk a traitor. He blew right past libel and went straight to treason. Sound as knee-jerk and irrational as any US political leader you may have heard of?
in reply to Randahl Fink

The only thing Elon Musk fights is the urge to eat another donut and claim vacuous victory over leftists.
in reply to Randahl Fink

Very very unfair. Something needs to be done about him.
in reply to Randahl Fink

@CStamp@mastodon.social @kathygriffin
I agree. We are using Karen as a noun to specify a behavior, not a gender. I am a woman and not one bit offended!
in reply to Randahl Fink

He says only 1 passport. He does not say how many citizenships.
in reply to Randahl Fink

Elon, you are aiding and abetting the enemy. You need to be tried and sentenced to prison.
in reply to Randahl Fink

given America has sided with Ukraine against Russia, acting against Ukraine, or for Russia is treason.
in reply to Randahl Fink

Did you notice he says in America not FOR AMERICA???!
in reply to Randahl Fink

it turns out per investigation by Ronan Farrow that it happened in about 10 locations, including Zaporizhzhia, and many of the other fronts they currently fighting on. Makes me wanna vomit. #MuskWarCrimes
in reply to Randahl Fink

, I blocked two 'people' on this thread, for trying to redirect the criticism of musk to a general complaint about mIsogyny from... checks notes... Kathy Griffin? I have a strong suspicion people who try to gaslight those who post threads like this are working as unregistered foreign agents of chaos (*cough* russian.)
in reply to Randahl Fink

Rule of thumb: when someone says "it's not illegal" or a variant of that, it's because they know their position is indefensibly wrong.
in reply to Randahl Fink

Wait…so now he’s accusing people who exercise their free speech rights of being “treasonous”? 🤔

Could someone please inform Mr. “free speech absolutist” that nothing could be more un-American?

in reply to Randahl Fink

This dude is a legit target for Ukrainians that are sick of their family and friends being killed on a daily basis. He clearly thinks this is a game, and it is disgusting.
in reply to Randahl Fink

his defense is thus that the legal definition of treason is not a perfect fit

criminal defense by corporate law

in reply to Randahl Fink

I am willing to give Musk a chance to prove this by dying in America.
Or wherever.
in reply to Randahl Fink

#Musk might need to re-read his oath to this country. Nowhere does it say it's ok to interfere in a military situation or contact foreign powers.

in reply to Randahl Fink

First of all, he's committed treason against South Africa just by being embarrassing, us South Africans are very embarrassed for him, second of all, we wouldn't accuse him of treason, we'd accuse him of being a poes.
in reply to Randahl Fink

@CStamp @kathygriffin OK Randahl, we are trying to work ourselves into a meaningless rage here.
in reply to Randahl Fink

@DavidNielsen
So calling musk a traitor is actually an act of treason?
He is that important, that central to the very idea of America. He himself is actually America 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

in reply to Randahl Fink

@DavidNielsen
He's like Trump, just when you think he can't be more horrible, he does a HMB, and you're like "wow he really outdid himself"
