tagging of flagging a thread for future reading?

@Friendica Support

I was wondering if there is a way to tag/flag/mark a conversation so that we can keep it for later use, or archive it for "permanent" reading?

The flow of messages can be high, so t avoid losing a conversation, how can we "save" them?

Thanks for ideas

Beside these Friendica-Tools i would recommend the Firefox add-on 'SingleFile'. It writes the currently displayed web page or even a complete thread including all images etc into a single HTML file for backup-purposes.
You can view them later in the browser, even if the instances involved no longer exist.

@Bionk Thanks for the ideas.
I will add singlefile to my firefox and see how it works.

Besides the star and save to folders, whatother friendica tools might you be talking about?

Thanks

Just 'star' and 'save to folders' as already mentioned by Hypolite Petovan.

Thanks @Hypolite Petovan

2 questions to better understand and use your ideas:
1 - How do you star it? I can not find any thing relating to a star, or the word star while reading the posts.
2 - when you save it to a folder, where are these folders located, and how do I create them?

Thanks!

More menu ... under each post. There you find both. The saved folders are accessible in the left side panel.

@Joseph Hogan Starring: only on top-level posts, available in "Starred" tab of Network page.

Save to folder: Any post can be saved, modal offers you to select an existing folder or create a new one using the text input field. Folders are available in the "Saved folder" widget in the left column of the Network page.

You can also use @Remind Me , a nice tool to get a specific reminder for reading when you know you gone have the time.

Or to pump something into your memory using the "Tony Buzan method".
Or others special purposes ..

@Joseph Hogan @utopiArte It’s a Mastodon bot account that you mention (@remindme@mstdn.social) in a reply and that sends you reminders about the post your replied to after the delay you supplied.

@Joseph Hogan

Do you need more guidance or did you get how it works?
